The 'S' Family

One last family before the new baby! They took me out to their farm and had the most beautiful sunflower patch! It was such a great spot. They were up for anything and even loved to come up with their own poses. We had such a fun time. Enjoy the little peek!

Sweet Baby Violet

This little girl is so perfectly beautiful! Since I'm 37 weeks and already 'progressing' I was really hoping she would toss me right into labor. So far...24 hours later...nothing. Darn it! I had a great time capturing these precious moments for the 'B' Family!

sweetest family

This family was a blast to photograph!! They were so sweet and caring towards one another. They were also eager to do whatever I suggested!  Thank heaven the Dad knew exactly where to go for photos to stay dry when it's raining outside!

What I like to call 'mine' ;)

In case he was feeling neglected in any way...I decided to play catch up.  Then I couldn't pick just 1 or 2 for the blog so you get the pleasure of seeing a lot more!  I can't believe my little man is going to be 3!!

Pike County Sessions

On our way home from our 'vacation' we stopped for a limited amount of sessions in Pike County.  These are just a few of my favorites.  I got to photograph families I've been photographing for several years and even 3 new families.  It was so much fun to have new locations, new faces and new props!  It was SO hot and humid out but we all survived and had fun!  We even got to play in a creek and get photos with a John Deere tractor. 

I have had inquiries about when I'll be back for more sessions and I'm considering October so once it's decided I'll make an announcement.  Once again, I'll only have a limited amount of sessions and it will be 1st come 1st pick on session times.  Thank you so much for all of the support and kind comments!

Mommy & Me

This was a fun little session I did this week of my cousin and her new baby Caroline.  It's been great being able to spend some time with she and her family!  It seems like the Mommy's are hardly in any photos so we tried to change that this time for her.

Such a happy lil' guy!

Krista and I played traveling softball together many years ago and made great memories.  We had lost touch for awhile and we finally reconnected on Facebook.  She lives in the Ozark area so while down on my little getaway we were able to get together and I got to meet her adorable little man!  He's so happy.  This session was so easy because he cracked up very easily!

My Handsome Nephew

This is my handsome nephew Ross.  We took a break from the sun and fun at the Lake to have a quick little photo shoot.  Ross will be 10 on August 20th-our Anniversary!

The 'K' Family at the Lake

2 times the fun

I was asked to photograph these twins soon after their Mommy found out she was expecting.  I was so excited and a wee bit nervous because I have never photographed newborn twins before.  I have to say, if all twins are this easy then I'll take them everyday!  They slept and posed perfectly the entire day!!  These are just 3 of my favorites!

This really is no joke.  We hung them from a tree branch.  I've been wanting to try this but thought my 1st time might be a little too difficult with twins...but we did it!

In Love

I was lucky enough to photograph these 2 again before their BIG vacation!  We had a lot of fun!  It was a hot one this day but we were able to get some neat shots in!

I photographed this family several years ago.  Since then the oldest has grown up and they've added to their family.  We did this session at their new home, which is beautiful!  The Mommy loves the candid silly shots so that made for an extra fun session!

Rain isn't always bad during a photo shoot...

This just might have been one of my most fun sessions yet!  We tried this shoot on another day but little Brody was teething and ended up having an ear infection on top of it all.  So we rescheduled and got a few photos in before it started pouring.  We waited...hoping it would pass quickly!  The skies finally cleared and we ventured back out and let him play in the puddles.  He loved it and I loved the results we got!  

Happy 1st Birthday Brody!

Boy was it steamy!

It was extremely hot and humid this night but these little guys did great! I was a bit nervous going into this session when I learned the ages....2, 8 weeks and 9 months! They weren't into getting in real close to the baby so we did the best we could.

I immediately fell in love with this little guy and his eyes!! Heavenly! They were the prettiest shade of blue. He was such a good little poser too! He never made a peep!

This little man is 9 months and was so cute. He also made my job easy because he's so happy!

Miss Natalie

I've had the opportunity to capture Natalie and her brother a few times now. We were able to get some photos in before the skies opened up yet again! Natalie wasn't really in the mood for photos...I heard she acts like her Daddy. ;)

I love the natural poses and expressions I got from her though! I did get a few of her smiling but these are just 2 of my many favorites!

Family Fun

This family of 4 was so much fun to capture. They were literally up for anything I threw at them...even the Dad played along!
The expressions on the boys faces are priceless in this one!

Garrett has always been my little buddy. I love the poses he naturally came up with! Such a sweetie!

These 2 brothers are buddies and are sure to be heart-breakers in several more years! Colton loved coming up with new locations and poses. He was really getting into it. I love it when kids are this way-makes my job easy!
